The Jeda Quadrant.......Nine habitable planets. Two strong factions. One civil war.
Tatoonie: Luke Skywalker called his desert home "the planet farthest from the bright side of the galaxy."
Donturine: Donturine is a rather non-descript planet located directly in the middle of the Jeda Quadrant
Degoba: Often described as the "reject planet" Degoba is the ideal home for someone who doesn't want to be found.
Alderaan: Princess Leia stated with pride that "Alderaan is peaceful, we have no weapons." Her analysis was correct. Alderaan, led by Queen Ewura Esi, is one of the last locals of peaceful civilizations in the Jeda Quadrant.
Corillia: Corillia is the metropolitan capital of crime in the Jeda Quadrant. The air is heavily polluted and most of the establishments are rotting, but crime is always in bloom on Corillia. The planet is governed by a dictatorship under the Emperor.
Endor: The most populated planet in the Jeda Quadrant, Endor is one of the most valuable pawns in the war. Endor's government is headed up by a matriarchal monarchy, the current leader of which is Queen Viola Hansel.
Aldalak: One of the few remaining thresholds of civilization, Aldalak is a small M-Class planet populated primarily by Twi'leks. Similar to its sister planet Alderaan, Aldalak has a limited monarchy headed up by a matron queen and her dynasty to follow.
Yavin: The fourth planet in the Yavin System, Yavin is the current metropolitan center of the Jeda Quadrant. The most abundant species on Yavin are Humans, Wookies, and Neptuunians, though it is host to a dozen other species.
Hoth: Han Solo called Hoth, "an ice cube" and his description was quite accurate. Hoth is the coldest planet in the Jeda Quadrant, boasting an average temperature of -65 decrees Celious and only one season per year, winter. There are no sentient lifeforms native to Hoth, making it the ideal location for various Rebel Bases, including the infamous Echo Base.
The training.........
Jedi training is intense and involved, often taking years at a time. Luke Skywalker, due to his obligations to the Rebellion, takes his training in shifts, often months apart. Jedi Master Yoda is the only Jedi left with the knowledge of how to train young Jedi.
The discipline......
Jedi who abuse the powers of the Force, known as Sith, are said to belong to the Dark Side of the Force. Emotions such as fear, anger, and hate lead Jedi down the path to the Dark Side and it is belived that once a Jedi ventures down that path, they will forever be guided by evil. As a rule, Jedi are not supposed to submit to their emotions, especially those that lead to the Dark Side. Jedi are also not encouraged to love, a quality which makes ONLY Luke Skywalker unique.
The Force..........
The Force is a form of living energy that was first discovered and used by the Jedi Knights. The Jedi have a powerful command of the Force, which allows them to manipulate gravity fields, sense emotions and impulses, and communicate with beings on other energy fields, including the dead.
The Jedis.........
In the decades before the war, Jedi were recognized at an early age and taken to various study planets where they were trained to use the Force correctly. Any species could capture Jedi energy, provided that their blood is compatable. It was important that potential Jedi be recognized at an early age, for if they weren't, it was likely that they would discover their powers on their own and use them incorrectly.
Light and Darkness. Good and Evil. Opposition binds the galaxy together.
