Always back the inner voice

The inner voice comprises two equally important parts that contain everything you need to evolve.
    - The all-encompassing energy that binds everything in the universe;
    - and the experiences, memories, dreams, and aspirations....it

Misery is an anchor or chain

Misery is seen as an anchor for life, for many people who can't see that it is just a chain holding them back.

Tenets

- Always have a child-like and adolescent curiosity about your inner self, learning new things, the world at large, and most importantly, the natural world. You don't know it all; no one does!

- Principles, Principles, Principles! - Select and live by them carefully, but evolve them as you grow and change. The whole point is to be a wonderful human being, at least for the most part of your life, and the principles you choose will define and enable you to achieve this goal

- have complete faith in cosmic connectedness

- You can't control everything; stop chasing it and learn to control your actions

- Embrace the fact that you are ultimately alone in your life journey

- show compassion and nurture high-quality human connections throughout your life

- Be nature savvy; we are nothing without nature and the natural world

- Always assume that you are the BETA version of yourself, and keep striving toward the better you

- Stick to the plan, anticipate and don't improvise, fight the right fight (The Killer - 2024)

- be very picky and stubborn about what you choose to get yourself high with and with who, where and when you choose to do it!

A perfect life

A perfect life is one, that is won, by having the most human connections of high quality.

There is 'Virtually' no other option to 'Reality'

Just imagine what would happen if video game publishers removed the option to play games in easy, medium, novice, and amateur modes, the whole industry would nosedive.

The reason gaming companies must sell so many game modes & in-game levels is that in the real world, the chances of climbing through the levels of success, fitness, wealth, etc are hard work, and even then there is the likely chance you would fail. Who would buy a game knowing that failure is inevitable and sometimes a constant no matter how hard you try!

The gaming and the virtual world are great and designed to help us distract ourselves from the harsh realities of the real world. Gamers have the choice to choose how they play and there are plenty of shortcuts, and then there is the option of 'Pay To Win' but in real life, there are very few silver spoons being handed out

No one can just hand you a fit mind and body, the career ladder extracts blood, sweat, and tears by the bucket, and it's hard work for sure to ensure you don't squander inherited wealth and then there is 'lucky wealth' a .000000001% probability you will ever win the lottery :-)

Ideal Global Citizen

Pragmatic as the West and emotionally and spiritually wise as the East, this is the global citizen we need to be right now.

Painfully true

Pain is such an intangible, nothing can describe it accurately.

take a deep breath

When you feel like you don't know what your chasing, take a deep breath, the universe is within you, remind yourself that......breathe.

live outside your active mind

Live outside your active mind does not mean that you live like an uncouth animal, it means, live like an observer of your life, a neutral, a referee of the highest standard,  a well wisher and a positive influencer of your life in the waking state.

True spirituality

Chasing down your mind, calming it, taming it and bring form to and manifesting intangible characteristics of our personality, our soul...is true spirituality which in turn pushes us closer to self realization.

Friday, August 20, 2021

true mastery

True mastery in anything can be achieved only when you not only live in the moment but also you focus singularly on the one thing you must achieve in that moment. Mind is a monkey, tame it.

Exercise routine vs tv show selections

The two are similar, we should choose an exercise routine or tv show based on what gets you forward. No point watching something that does not enrich your life in someway, same thing with exercise routines...whats the point of doing something that does not get you ahead with your fitness......evolve the right way, for the right reasons, and don't forget that you can choose how to perceive things and choose what you do to evolve!

shopping life

Life is like a shopping day at the mall....so many options and so much to indulge in but if you go in without a focused plan you will most likely come out with things you did not need or did not like.

Focus on what you know

Ensure you are always focused on what you know.....everything else does not matter.

A moment of truth

If you see a moment of greatness without watching the match till then does that particular moment match up to its glory? There are no shortcuts.

Collective miss

With countless pockets of sheer brilliance it is astounding how glaring the ignorance of a collective coexistence is.

We just dont get it. Unless we come together and live with a collective conscience there is no hope.

Change is evolution...but not

Change is evolution and everything that makes life what it is. Change happens constantly and we need it to be that way.

But the truth is that if we aspire to truly evolve as a human being and want to live life in harmony, joy, and contentment, one needs to remain absolutely unchanged throughout life as far as the 'self' is concerned.

Comfort zones are mine fields

The climb was a comple revelation about comfort zones and how they can destroy you or you choose them to make you.

We have created a million comfort zones...the AI revolution  is going to ensure we feel the pinch of the transformation. By feeling more human we can unlock an eternal future and god forbid we think technology is carrying us forward.

Principles and C'est la vie

Trauma from uncontrollable forces of nature should be far easier to deal with than  what is an effect of self incflicted due to ignorance, complacency and a lackadaisical  attitude.

C'est la vie

Young hearts are broken easily and can't mend quickly

Old hearts can't be broken easily and can recover swiftly

Young bodies won't break easily and can repair quickly

Old bodies break easily but can't recover quickly

Young and Old minds are alike and can function like each other at any time

Wear and tear of everything and anything we use is inevitable. Nothing remains in pristine condition forever if it's used or it eventually rots if we don't.

Mind and body are the same if we don't use them but when we do use and maintain them well they do grow stronger in resolve which leads to hope and creates happiness. This is all we can ask for because, eventually, everything breaksdown, decays and disappears.

The wealth I have....

The greatest assets in my life are my wife and few treasured relationships.....both generate immeasurable wealth and add value in the form of joy, happiness and content. No amount of material wealth can match this....grateful.

From self flagellation to eternal bliss

From self flagellation to eternal bliss is the journey to self realization...the end game.

Being a victim and a victor is the game we play till we decide to retire into the eternal wisdom. There is nothing else that matters other than true knowledge of the 'self'. Everything along the way is nothing but a series of the beacons of learning, understanding and experiences which lead us to the end. Time is the only limitation and winners are those who utilize it well.

Maybe we just ran away....

May be we are AI or advanced cyborgs or robots that got out of the hands of celestial beings who were using us in a battle to control the spread of good v/s evil.....in our case we got away and somehow meta morphed/synthesized ourselves into what we are.....flesh, chemicals, triggers in our nerves and brain and mostly water.
We now can grow flesh in a lab, repair ourselves to a great degree and yet we remain lost and lack of purpose, this with all the collective wisdom we have on the planet.
There is hope in us and therefore so many of us strive to innovate and go visualize beyond the imaginable, to create things that help us or just things we need....well that's what's destroying us....the things we need.
In our case team evil won....they taught us  greed, manipulation and endless suffering through our vices....evil created a self destructive virus in us. While our original masters taught us compassion, selflessness and the path to true knowledge....yet we must have decided, as we always do, that we are superior and let our egos run our lives and incidentally the entire planet. We can't just let nature be...we are self destructive.
Evil is winning big time.. ..though a few among us remain who fight on and keep seeking the truth....some even made a tv show Westworld....really...whats the point of creating a reality show within a reality show!!
We are lost. Wake up!!!!

The secret to living as a human being

The secret to life lies in between the animal nature and the spiritual nature of human beings. Perfect balance between these two is found only by the self realized, wise and aware beings. This art form demands wisdom and vices to play along in perfect sync.
A wild animal will hunt based on an instinctual trigger whereas human beings can control that trigger when it happens within them.
A wild animal will also only kill and eat to survive unlike human beings who will kill and hoard and waste. We also manipulate to get whatever we desire and sometimes for no apparent reason at all, to me, this is what we define as evil.
A wild animal roams free and does not pretend to control everything while most of us live to control everything we think is ours.

The most important thing in your life

The most important thing in your life is to pay attention to the one thing you just can't stop doing for even just one minute. Breathe.

Life is a game

If life is a game then don't we need training and the experience to succeed?

If we are to be at the top of our 'life' game we need an excellent coach, a sponsor to pay for things and most of all the will and intent to play and win.

Rarely do we see individuals who are naturally gifted to lead life well and even they need some coaching and sponsorship.

Then there is 'fair play' ......so easy to cheat through life and in any game but the consequences are huge. In life, the karmic  consequence is unbearable.....just that we are not aware of our past lives and most often live our present life like a zombie.

Think about all the sportsmen who have cheated, all they had was their 15mins of fame and then suffering and shame for the rest of their lives.

Playing truthfully, first truthfully to yourself and in every minute you are alive, is the only way to get yourself into the eternal hall of fame.....tough sport indeed cause only a few have ever done it the right way.

No magic no supernatural

There is no such thing as magic or the supernatural.

There is only beauty in everything we do not know.

Fear resides in laziness and ignorance.

Gaping at the world we create

We are all just gaping at the world we live in as if it's some great mystery.

We created everything that we desire and need and then we complain whinge and whine blaming some unknown force for our misfortunes.

Instead of being curious and protective of the things we did not create...like air water  earth sky and space, nature and the wonderful ecology that comes with it all, we have created things that destroy all the greatness everyday. We then sit and wonder why everything is going downslope....wow dumbasses!!

Time is our inheritance and wealth

Time is our inheritance and wealth.
Just like in the financial markets we have to take care our the time in our lives.
Keep ourselves productive and make it grow and give returns.

The time market is almost flat....not exciting....avg. CSGR and low returns.

We have to work very hard to maximise the returns.....clean living helps but the best returns are when we balance mental and physical health.

Attitude and character and values are the major funds...they get best returns.

Time constraints

Time is so finite, it's impact on our life decisions is huge. The choice, which is most often predetermined, is about whether one lives within the finite grid of time or not. Whether we choose to pick the consequences of predictable time bound patterns or not is difference between living and living free....truly free.q

Emotional BCP (Business Continuity Plan)

Life goes on no matter what happens.

As catastrophic and devastating the event may seem until one loses their life in these events life will go on. Tomorrow never dies until you do.

To cope with the extreme impact and changes and to ensure balance at all times we must work tirelessly to ensure we have BCP plans in place.....emotional BCP.

Coping with emotional stress is an art form.  Have a BCP for every situation we face may be a herculean task however if we get the fundamentals of BCP right then you can build any number of coping mechanisms over it.

The foundation for a titanium type BCP for emotions comes from deep within. We forget to nuture this core to its full potential and that's why we struggle when we get hit with a devastating life event.

Take any event....death of kin for example,  it's such a hard one to cope with and almost every time it happens people offer support, guidance and solutions but every single time it's the individual who has to chose to stand up and make the choice to move on ....not just move on but move on without compromising ones own balance of life.

So paying attention to our inner voice and instinct is paramount during tough times.

Every solution and answer we seek is readily available but we have to be aware that are available and the only way to do that is to constantly be in touch with ones true self.

If a BCP plan fails then we look at mending it in a way that the second time around it will work. This requires introspection and courage to acknowledge our own misgivings.

Guilt & Forgiveness

My Hatred, arrogance and stubbornness made the distance grow between me and him, but finally I have forgiven and feel guilty for not having spent time or mended ways.....is forgiveness something that should happen when they are alive or can I reconcile now that he is gone? will his spirit forgive me and love me? What can I do to redeem myself from the guilt I feel????

Stupidity

Stupidity of our species.

Accra, Ghana 145mm of rain in 24hrs and the infrastructure can't handle it. There's flooding everywhere. Traffic explodes into chaos.

Same case here in Chennai when it rains.

Surely a similar story in many parts of the world.

How dumb are we...no we are not just dumbasses, we are mentally sick with greed, jealousy, envy and pure evil.

We have all the means and intelligence to provide the infrastructure we need, create and supply enough of food for everyone. We can spread happiness and live happily instead we prefer to live in hatred and apathy.

It's a farce. Just a facade and not true to what lies deep within our inherent core.

While we live out our ignorant self loathed  lives we are destroying everything around us and within us.

Stupidity.

The wilderness and the journey back.home

Tigers roam vast areas in the jungle....they mark their territory systematically, they do this so they can find their way back home and know the area they rule. A tiger knows his own smell and can never forget to identify with it....his own piss he uses to mark trees and shrub. A tiger must have a mind, not that all of us agree,  but surely they must have a mind and must be after something.   They move around a vast area in search of their next prey or maybe even a female. They may go to parts of a jungle where they have never been before but they bravely go and without a doubt follow their markings back home. They must have a favourite cave or watering hole. They find their way back smelling and feeling and trusting their own scent.

Journey is the essence of life. If we stop moving we cease to exist. Moving doesn't have to be physical travel....as long as we keep moving in our mind we will evolve to greater beings and realization.

Drug addicts and alcoholics numb out their senses and get stuck in one place. searching never ceases because its inherent to us but these guys are stuck!!

Our beacon..the soul never changes....wherever we go and whatever we achieve we have to finally come back to the state of inner peace....not sure why we leave it and go so far, we forget that where we started we had nothing but that is all that we ever needed. Peace love and compassion.

Time to grow up.....

We grow up and become real human beings when we realise that which separates our physical self from that which makes us roam the universe without the necessity of movement.

Mind over matter is no laughing matter but when it does happen then life begins to take shape.

Roam roam roam the world.

Kings of democracy

We mimic the west, ape it with the hope of being like them but don't know how to. We forget  one major difference between US  and India, a citizen of the western world has a voice, is a stakeholder, is a valued part of the system.  In india we are nothing but pawns in the games that kings play. Though we claim to be a democratic nation there is hardly any evidence to show a commoner matters to the system. We are still under the rule of kings. .....the politicians are the new rulers. The big difference being kings could be toppled from their thrones if they didn't look after the welfare of people. Take Chanakya for example...he strived hard to establish the concept of a nation, the purposeful unity of all people to create a nation that strives for the people. Nowadays the politicians only want power and with their rapaciousness seek their own prosperity. screw the people. Only pawns who have a namesake duty of voting and then hoping for change. Can an Indian citizen demand change? Can we seek justice, can we gt equal opportunities and rights...no way, that privilege belongs only to the thugs that rule the country. politicians have to be held accountable and work within an honour code just like the ancients did. Only then can we hope to be something. India can but won't. ...strange this slave mentality. Even the ones who have enough and can stir a national conscience  refrain from doing so. It's obviously safe and comfortable to stay put and let life pass by. God help our great country for no one else will.

The only things we need in life

  • Imagination and dreams are a must do, every single day of your life dream of what you want to become
  • Don't spend time on regrets, learn from mistakes and move on.
  • Don't compare unless you are gaining knowledge or for purposes of improving yourself
  • Self pity is for the lowest kind of humans
  • Be supremely self confident but never arrogant.
  • Nuture healthy relationships and throw away the negative ones.
  • Aggressively seek out opportunities as they are the bedrock of your destiny. To seek out the best opportunities one must have sorted out fundamental issues with ones outlook, character, personality and values system.
  • Train yourself to be decisive
  • Train yourself to seek and explore as much as you can before resorting to ask someone for the solution; it's easy when someone else offers answers but one learns so much so well through their own way of discovery.
  • Don't be quick to judge others, especially if you are judging them based on their external appearance. The true reflection of the human being is hidden under the layers of clothes and skin.
  • Exercise restraint and patience, everything is possible for those who wait and think before acting.
  • Manifest your goals by continually visualizing them, this is a process similar to planning and we all know that everything that is great was planned to perfection.
  • Learn how to talk to yourself. You are the best guardian of you. It's also the only way to control the ever wavering mind at least until it quietens down with meditation and an awakened conscience.
  • The only person you should tell your secrets to is you.
  • Don't take yourself or your life so seriously that you miss out on the fun and bliss life has to offer. In the grand scheme of things you are only a tiny spec in the cosmos and that too only until you lice and breathe life. As soon as you stop breathing it's all over and who is to say when you will stop breathing, so chill out and look at the bigger universal picture:-)

Compare for the right reasons

The only valid reason to compare yourself with another human being is if there is something you can learn from the other. If the intention is other than to better yourself with knowledge or set higher benchmarks for your personal development......then you can rest assured you will never evolve to a state of self realization.

Life ceases to exist when you stop longing for the extraordinary

Life ceases to exist when you stop longing for the extraordinary.

If destiny is truly in our hands it's up to us to make the extraordinary happen.

Imagination is the seed for extraordinary things; a.k.a miracles. It's what we perceive to be a miracle.

The benchmark is within you, raise the bar and make great things happen for yourself. Only you know how hard you want to play in the game of life.

Communication is like a powerful DRAINEX

Communication is like a powerful DRAINEX, it unclogs difficult relationships and allows free flow exchange of ideas and emotions between people.

Human networks get clogged up for all sorts of reasons....communication rectifies everything.

Indian libertines are very non-discriminating

When it comes to giving free rein to their priapic urges, the Indian libertines are very non-discriminating.

Political depredations

Our politicians are the ones that commit huge crimes and their depredation on the public is callous and in fact should be treated as treason.
Their acts are worse than the depredation by the British Raj.

Death unites all

How hard we try to lead unique lives and in the end death unites us all.

So what's the point in trying to lead a life spent searching for greedy material possession and indulgence.

If only life was going to be selective in handing things to a person what's the use of experience.

Friday, July 17, 2015

Our politicians should watch....

Our politicians should watch shows on Nat Geo and Discovery channels to see the enormous success in development of other countries.

For example the 3gorges Dam in China, trash management in trashopolis on discovery etc

If china can do it so can we but we need a vision, will and a basic sense of responsibility and accountability.

Our politicians live in their own ignorant fantasy world that India is doing well....take a peek at the rest of the world you morons.

In many countries the politicians work for the people and in our great country the people work hard and pay taxes so the politicians can scam their way to a luxurious life.

People with a senseless approach filled with their own narcissistic thoughts are annoying. To cavil at every good proposal is their sole purpose in life.

What's in a name?

What kind of running actually means walking? – Running out of gas
What can’t be used unless it is broken? – It’s eggs
What two words contain a thousand letters in them? – Post Office

It is greater than god and more evil than the devil. The poor have it, the rich need it and if you eat it you will die.
-         Nothing, nothing is greater than god, nothing is more evil than the devil, the poor have nothing, the rich need nothing and if you eat nothing you will certainly die.

In the 1st century BC, the emperor of Ujjain was famed for his wisdom, valor and magnanimity.
At the tender age of 5 he went to do austere penance and after 12 years of tapasya he was given a boon, a boon that he and his descendants will rule the kingdom for a 1000yrs.
But before he could ascend the throne he had to show his humility to a vetal, a vetal that gave him 32 riddles to solve, failing which his head was to burst into a 1000 pieces.

I ASK YOU…..What’s in a name?
Why is there so much who-haa when it comes to the naming of a child?
Especially in our country, parents name their children only after consulting with astrologers, numerologists and, in a way, expressing blind faith in their gods.
But, I think, the most important reason is, the hope that the children will in some way emulate, should I dare say, their namesakes.

My name is Vikramaadithya Venkatapuram Reddi, my namesake is the great King of Ujjain, Vikramaaditya
If I were to subscribe to a conventional way of thinking, I should be wandering in a jungle with a ghost on my back, testing me to see if my head would burst into a 1000 pieces.
All this for the promise of a throne.
But I have survived and with time I have understood that my life is who I truly am and not what merely my name suggests.
I was born on Aug 3rd, 1975, my parents named me V.Vikram, in my 7th grade they decided, in consultation with astrologers that I would have a better life if my name was changed to V.V Aadithya. Two years later, when I applied for a fresh passport, I had to explain my initials and so once again in consultation with numerologist and astrologers my name was changed to Vikramaadithya Venkatapuram Reddi.

When I turned 18, I left India for the land down under. I was enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and soaking in everything this new life in a unknown territory had to offer.
In my 7 years in Sydney, a lot had happened, my father abandoned my mother, my 11 yr old sister and me.
I was lucky in a way, far removed & oblivious to the pain of a broken home.
I was working to pay my way through uni and landed a great job when I was 20.
As you can imagine, asking an Australian to say my name ‘Vikramaadithya’ was nothing less than expecting a miracle to happen. So, I made it easy for everyone, I said call me Vik.
I have 709 contacts on my facebook. To them I am known as V.V, Vikram, Adi, Adithya, Reddi, Vik and even Vik Malone….go figure!!
With all this confusion how could I rely on my name to define me, to identify with, which name should I pick?
So I kept looking for something more.

As destiny would have it, long long ago in 1977, in a galaxy far far away which we all know as Hollywood, the great George Lucas created Star Wars.
Like fish taking to water, my deepest aspiration was to emulate the character of a Jedi Knight.

The core values of a Jedi knight are, PERFECTION, JUSTICE, LOYALTY, DEFENSE, COURAGE, FAITH, GUIDANCE, DISCIPLINE, FOCUS, TRAINING, LOVE & COMPASSION

About 30 of the 709 contacts in my facebook, are my dearest closest friends. People I love and have known forever.
To this core group, I am known as Master Jedi Obi Wan Kenobi.
So, friends & colleagues, I ask you again,

WHATS IN A NAME?

Stench gets a name

India is a great nation but most Indians will argue that it is by far the greatest nation in the world.  For as far back as I can recall my memory,  when the question pops up, in classrooms, the workplace, in debates  with foreigners and particularly in situations when a bottle of single malt has spirited its way to the gut, we Indians will state with immense pride that we are the greatest country on earth.

But why do we feel this way?  from time immemorial we have invented, sculpted, worshiped, acquired great wisdom and taught ourselves to live a glorious life. Indians have been path breaking in fields of medicine, architecture, technology and most importantly we have mastered the spiritual, ritual and esoteric philosophy. We are the pioneers of understanding the human body and it's complex function. We developed realistic ways to overcome misery and transition to bliss.
Mera Bharath Mahan hai!!

We gave so much to the world long long long before any other civilizations contributed. Today these inventions are gifts to the world that no one can do without.

Here are a few of these great inventions.

Button: were used in the Indus Valley Civilization by 2000 BCE. Imagine we only had zippers!!

Ink has been used in India since at least the 4th century BCE.

Chaturanga: The precursor of chess originated in India during the Gupta dynasty (c. 280-550 CE).

Crucible steel: In  300 BCE high quality steel was being produced in southern India also by what Europeans would later call the crucible technique.

Mysorean rockets: The first iron-cased and metal-cylinder rockets that traveled up to 2kms were developed by Tipu Sultan, in the 1780s.

Ruler: Rulers for measurement were in use by the Indus Valley Civilization in 1500 BCE.

Shampoo: Shampoo was first introduced in Britain by a Bengali named Sake Dean Mahomed, in the early 19th century.

Mathematics:
The Indian mathematician Brahmagupta had begun using algebraic abbreviations for square roots and cube roots by the 7th century.
Zero: In 500 AD circa Aryabhata gave a new symbol for zero (0). Indians were the first to use the zero as a symbol and in arithmetic operations
Trigonometry is attributed to Madhava (c. 1340–1425) and his Kerala school of astronomy

Medicine:
Ayurveda  dates back to Iron Age India (1st millennium BC) and still practiced today as a form of complementary and alternative medicine.
Cataract surgery: Cataract surgery  and the cure for leprosy was known to the Indian physician Sushruta (6th century BCE).

I will stop now on espousing the greatness of India and allow a fighting chance to some other great countries that could stake their claim as being the greatest.

Some other nations known for their inventions, architecture and culture are....

China - The Ming dynasty and The great wall, The golden age of the Tang Dynasty. The now greatest emerging economy and the most number of asian billionaires.Fried rice.
Italy - Julius Caesar and the great roman empire. The Coliseum and The Pantheon. Divine Michaelangelo and the Sistine Chapel. Pasta and Pizza....bellisimo!!!
Egypt - The Great Pyramid of Giza and The Sphinx. The Mediterranean seaport of Alexandria.  The mysterious Tutankhamen and the one and only true beauty....Cleopatra
.....and this list can go on and on and on but obviously the timer is not going to be that kind to me today.

Moving on, which countries of the world today are glorious  and a place people aspire to live in,
1. Denmark - A country where murder and other crime rates are at zero. A country offering a pollution-free and corruption-free life quality with stable economic growth even at recession times
2.  Norway’s oil manufacturing and its strong socialist system contributes to the wealth of every citizen.  Even garbage collectors own luxury phones and live in decent homes. Norwegians eat the healthiest foods, drink clean water and breathe fresh air.
3. Switzerland is one of the best countries to live in because it provides a very high life quality, safety, wealth & health to all its citizens even including the ones living in remote places.
 4. Sweden offers 16 months of parental leave and pays 80% of a citizens salary. So parents get loads of time to spend with their children. It’s the reason why Sweden is considered as one of the best countries to live and to see your kids grow up. University is free. Sweden is the safest country for women to reside. Throughout Sweden you can breathe fresh and clean air. Sweden is packed with nature and the water over here is perfect for both swimming and drinking.
5. High per capita GDP, longer life expectancy and excellent level of education are factors that put Australia on the hit the list of best countries to live in the world.

Enough said about other countries, let's take a look at where our great mother India is today.
Let's not focus on what our great country gives the rest of the world, let's focus on something much much closer to home.
Let's take a look at the greatness we have developed in our very own singara Chennai.

We are still at the forefront of invention. We are now transforming the English language.
...this is something no other country has managed to do.
We have managed to equalize a noun and a proper noun.

Originally known as Cochrane's canal, a saltwater navigation canal in 1806 stretched from Madras North to Ennore for a distance of 11 miles.
The canal was taken over by the government of Madras Presidency in 1837 and further extended, ultimately reaching 315 kilometers  north of Madras to Vijayawada on the banks of River Krishna
During 1877 the people of Madras suffered from a terrible famine and more than 6 million people perished. An  8-kilometre stretch, linking the Adyar and Cooum rivers, was built in 1877-78 at a huge cost for famine relief work. The canal was named the Buckingham Canal in 1878 because the link, was built on the orders of the Governor, the Duke of Buckingham
The canal was widely used to transport goods up and down the coast from Vijayawada to Chennai.
Now, within the city of Chennai the canal is badly polluted from sewage and industrial effluents, the stagnant water is an attractive habitat for malaria-spreading mosquitoes and other diseases.
Buckingham Canal is the most polluted major waterway in the world with nearly 55 million litres of untreated sewage being let into it daily, including by Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
So what am I getting at??

The word stench is a noun, meaning : a very bad smell or stink or reek
The opposite of aroma or fragrance

Undeniably Cooum means Stench and Stench is The Cooum.
This is the continued greatness of our country, we are transforming English.

Thank you and Jai hind.

God of others......

to make people feel superior, well received and understood, special and unique

It's just that they dont know god has already given them all that and more...

why should I feel miserable when someone allows me to play 'their' gods role.......

If I played their gods role and made them feel wonderful, accepted, understood, special and unique then it's all the more better for me as my god will be very impressed with my selflessness, humility and compassionate attitude....I will eventually become a very important person in the heavens!

Realization begins at the end of curiosity

At the end of our primal curiosity begins realization.

Absolutely everything has a shelf life, if this were'nt a fact then eternity would be within our grasp.

Outside of the present moment we control nothing, anyone thinking otherwise is only weak.

Each and every moment of life is the drop that makes up the cosmic ocean of life.
Every individual adds to the ocean and has an effect on the ocean but no one owns the ocean.

Most painful state of being

The most painful state of being for any human is to remember the future....particularly the one that we cannot have.....

Free minds are a byproduct.....

The reluctance to have a free mind is a byproduct of suppressive culture.

The more we try to hide our fears of the unknown, the more bondage to our own personal world. Fixation happens due to fear, fixation leads to ignorance....unless the fixation is completely selfless and is focussed on the life force.

Ashla and Bogan are the two simplified halves of this most complicated system......!!

Continuous life, continuous improvement....

Regardless of religion, race or culture every human-being should live and die within a continuos improvement framework. Typical and already existent frameworks are schools, college and religious beliefs.

very few people focus on improving themselves continually, they depend on their framework to do it for them and that is a flawed way of thinking because although we have established pretty good frameworks we do not progress once we understand what the actual framework teaches us or stands for......we need to instill a continuous improvement mindset in every human-being to survive extinction, frameworks are like teachers, they stay back and teach, the students go out and conquer the world and become the stars.......

Cosmic alarms.......

A breakthrough thought, of any sort, is every human beings personalized cosmic alarm clock.......like a wake up call to realization.

The wake up service is only available if you subscribe to the cosmic realities and stay tuned into your own existence.

PLS DO NOT PUT THIS ALARM ON SNOOZE!!!!!!!!

Cluttered existence

As individuals we generally fail to clear clutter from our minds and personal lives.
How then can we say or do enough to save the planet from environmental disasters?

First we have to get our own minds in order and then save the world.

Clutter clutter clutter everywhere.

One carrot one life

one carrot left hanging on a stage, only way to get there is by crossing a great guillotine. A million standing on the ground as a crowd and moving in a chaotic pattern to grab the carrot. You are there in the middle row trying to get to the front,
do you need to be an iron man,
do you need to be a strategist,
do you need to be a philosopher,
do you need to be a politician,
or are you the wimp that gives up,
you decide but the objective remains unaltered......get to the carrot before anyone.

The only thing that is certain in the scene is that anyone that has the will stands a chance, the rest will meander forever in empty space but yet their space will be crowded.

Be selfish to be truly selfless, be determined but yet flexible, be ambitious and compassionate.

Living on borrowings.....

Is there a life without borrowing?

The worlds great economies are largely credit based, people in debt is alarmingly high and all this is only one aspect of human life on earth.

and nowadays core values are being borrowed and cultural boundaries crossover sometimes with a disastrous result and at other times results are glorious.

"living on borrowed culture" pls share if you have.....

Destiny is not the problem here...

Let's get our facts right and let's start with assuming everyone loves the reasoning behind the words fate & destiny.

Procrastination.

The true power of destiny is reduced to almost nothing these days. Back in the early ages, the playing field used to be even for most humans. We may have been primitive back then but nevertheless we were human. Daily objectives were about basics and survival was paramount but not without unadultrated competition. Civilizations evolved by claiming advancement of human life through discoveries, inventions and imagination. Today we have customs, traditions and values of a million different kind. Our actions go unchecked for the most part hidden within the guidelines of our great cultures. A level playing field has vanished. Today it is about being on the right side which may even mean being a decadent human being, but still the right side. Fate & Destiny, then are mere excuses for those humans that choose to be influenced for the sake of survival, just like a cancer the ignorance spreads.

Unfortunate circumstances are perceived in accordance with the mindset of the perceiver at that particular point in time, somewhat like, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

We always had access to inner peace but still we are in pursuit of it. Destiny is not the problem here.......lack of will along with ignorance is the core issue.

Breaking News: Cosmic expenses set to increase...

Expensing the cosmic energy as much as possible is critical to attaining a state of true life experience.

Ofcourse, it does not mean expensing energy by sensory pleasures or materialistic activity. Selfless activity, willful acts of compassion, honesty and peaceful progress are windows to release our inherent and rightful energy and release it in the right way. Yoga and exercise are training grounds teaching us the right way to control our cosmic energy, they also rejuvenate and enhance this energy.

Imprisonment of the divine force within ourselves and forcing it to get absorbed into our flesh and blood will only cause us more attachment to all things materialistic. A lethargic, self indulgent, egotistical human life is an example of such existence. The power of the cosmic energy can and will rejuvenate the senses if forced to, this in turn becomes overpowering to our own mind and finally blinds us.... We are rendered ignorant at the end of such existence.
Let it flow, let it flow! become awakened and aware at all times.

Sharibu Brothers........

My dearest Sharibu brothers, popote uendepo tutukawa na wewe!!

Beast control.....

Only one solution to keep the beast in us at check.....cannot actually make it go away!!

Most thoughts are basic and are required to keep us alive, rarely a thought is very meaningful and provokes the mind. A type of barbarism exists in our daily life, words, action and thought and usually nothing is done about it except when we get distracted. A meaningful thought can distract......and distract....and distract, this alone is enough to silence the beast.

"Whosoever is delighted in solitude is either a wild beast or a god."-----Aristotle!!

Tomorrow's significance

Tomorrow has got nothing to do with me and everything to do with right now.....
Today is always what matters....

What is the point?

Why on earth do we have a political system, governance and constitutions?

By who, for what and to where do these rules lead us?

It's time now, atleast now, to fully accept that the hope for creating a global constitution is baseless and impossible!! Humans have not mastered the art of getting along famously with their neighbours and in most cases with parents, friends, siblings......what a wild fantasy then to think we could actually achieve world peace.

We need to start locally and then spread outward......age old story this!

Jedi for dummies

The Jeda Quadrant.......

Nine habitable planets. Two strong factions. One civil war.

Tatoonie: Luke Skywalker called his desert home "the planet farthest from the bright side of the galaxy."

Donturine: Donturine is a rather non-descript planet located directly in the middle of the Jeda Quadrant

Degoba: Often described as the "reject planet" Degoba is the ideal home for someone who doesn't want to be found.

Alderaan: Princess Leia stated with pride that "Alderaan is peaceful, we have no weapons." Her analysis was correct. Alderaan, led by Queen Ewura Esi, is one of the last locals of peaceful civilizations in the Jeda Quadrant.

Corillia: Corillia is the metropolitan capital of crime in the Jeda Quadrant. The air is heavily polluted and most of the establishments are rotting, but crime is always in bloom on Corillia. The planet is governed by a dictatorship under the Emperor.

Endor: The most populated planet in the Jeda Quadrant, Endor is one of the most valuable pawns in the war. Endor's government is headed up by a matriarchal monarchy, the current leader of which is Queen Viola Hansel.

Aldalak: One of the few remaining thresholds of civilization, Aldalak is a small M-Class planet populated primarily by Twi'leks. Similar to its sister planet Alderaan, Aldalak has a limited monarchy headed up by a matron queen and her dynasty to follow.

Yavin: The fourth planet in the Yavin System, Yavin is the current metropolitan center of the Jeda Quadrant. The most abundant species on Yavin are Humans, Wookies, and Neptuunians, though it is host to a dozen other species.

Hoth: Han Solo called Hoth, "an ice cube" and his description was quite accurate. Hoth is the coldest planet in the Jeda Quadrant, boasting an average temperature of -65 decrees Celious and only one season per year, winter. There are no sentient lifeforms native to Hoth, making it the ideal location for various Rebel Bases, including the infamous Echo Base.

The training.........
Jedi training is intense and involved, often taking years at a time. Luke Skywalker, due to his obligations to the Rebellion, takes his training in shifts, often months apart. Jedi Master Yoda is the only Jedi left with the knowledge of how to train young Jedi.

The discipline......
Jedi who abuse the powers of the Force, known as Sith, are said to belong to the Dark Side of the Force. Emotions such as fear, anger, and hate lead Jedi down the path to the Dark Side and it is belived that once a Jedi ventures down that path, they will forever be guided by evil. As a rule, Jedi are not supposed to submit to their emotions, especially those that lead to the Dark Side. Jedi are also not encouraged to love, a quality which makes ONLY Luke Skywalker unique.

The Force..........
The Force is a form of living energy that was first discovered and used by the Jedi Knights. The Jedi have a powerful command of the Force, which allows them to manipulate gravity fields, sense emotions and impulses, and communicate with beings on other energy fields, including the dead.

The Jedis.........
In the decades before the war, Jedi were recognized at an early age and taken to various study planets where they were trained to use the Force correctly. Any species could capture Jedi energy, provided that their blood is compatable. It was important that potential Jedi be recognized at an early age, for if they weren't, it was likely that they would discover their powers on their own and use them incorrectly.

Light and Darkness. Good and Evil. Opposition binds the galaxy together.

Class from the past

The enormous temple complex is dedicated to Shiva, known here as Sundareshvara and his consort Parvati or Meenakshi. The original temple was built by Kulasekara Pandya, but the entire credit for making the temple as splendid as it is today goes to the Nayaks. The Nayaks ruled Madurai from the 16th to the 18th century and left a majestic imprint of their rule in the Meenakshi - Sundareswarar Temple.
